SMD PRODUCTS

Surface mount technology, better known by its acronym SMT, it is used for both active and passive components, and is based on the same assembly (SMC, in English Surface Mount Component) on the surface of the PCB.

While technology components through hole (THT) pass through the printed circuit forth, the SMD like, which are often smaller, not cross: the connections are made via flat contacts, a matrix of spheres at the bottom of the enclosure, or metallic finishes on the edges of the component.
